2026 PA SPEEDWEEK PAYOFF REACHES RECORD $500,000
Highlighted by the biggest payoff in Lincoln Speedway history, the 2026 PA Sprint Car SpeedWeek will offer over $500,000 in total prize money. The 36th Annual PA SpeedWeek presents ten consecutive nights of 410 Sprint Car racing beginning on Friday, June 26 at Williams Grove Speedway and concluding on Sunday, July 5 at the Selinsgrove Speedway & Raceway Park.
The Steve Smith Sr. tribute race at Lincoln Speedway scheduled for Monday, June 29 will be truly spectacular. Race organizer Brian Leppo has put together a night to remember with the total payoff for the event exceeding $166,000. The feature will offer $136,956 in total prize money to the twenty-four starters with the feature winner taking home $40,019 and the twenty-fourth place finisher earning $1,919. The payoff is designed for a 60-car field featuring twin B-Mains paying $1,519 to the first non-qualifier and the twentieth-place finisher in each B will earn $519.
“It is a privilege to present this event to honor Steve Smith Sr.” stated Brian Leppo, “We are happy to have Lincoln Speedway host the event and excited to have it be part of the PA SpeedWeek series”.
“When we first put this event together a couple of years ago, this is what we envisioned it could be,” said Leppo, who is the son-in-law to Steve Smith. “It means a lot that so many people have come on board for this race, and I think it says a lot about Steve and what he meant to the racing community.”
Steve Smith Sr. was the first ever SpeedWeek champion back in 1991, the inaugural season for the SpeedWeek Series. Stevie Smith, Steve’s son, added his name to the SpeedWeek champions list when he won the title in 2015.
